The hat is on top of the dog,
The dog is on top of the table,
This little guy dressed in his Lego armor hat had me smiling at this unexpected silliness one morning!

I never know what toys might surprise me; silly or otherwise around the house.  So many Happy little surprises!!!  My husband auctions/sells small toys and other notably small items on eBay.  He specializes in what’s tiny (medals, pins, toys).  He loves his hobbie (aka 2nd job).  It helps him de-stress; just chill and sort some Legos. 🙂

Toys are constantly coming and a going at this house.  This is great for our boys – always an extra toy or two to play with!  Very often when I arrive home the entire table, sofa, and sometimes floor are covered with toys.  This week it’s been the kitchen table ~ covered with light saber parts, old toy cars, ancient gi joes with their guns, tank parts….  Don’t think he is exclusive to boy’s toys I’ve helped him catalog and sort Polly pockets & barbie dolls a time or two before. 😉

This challenge brought this popular song to my mind.  Enjoy!

Ok, yes I am aware it’s Thursday, but SO very excited I found this black and white photo challenge!   I ♥ how I can see the hair on the dewy ♣ in my pic.  This photo also brings back a fond memory of my friend, General, who sings, “The Irish Blessing”, so beautifully that it reaches deep within me when I hear him sing it.
The Irish Blessing

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of his hand…

May you know nothing but happiness
From this day forward.
May the road rise up to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the warm rays of sun fall upon your home
And may the hand of a friend always be near.

May green be the grass you walk on,
May blue be the skies above you,
May pure be the joys that surround you,
May true be the hearts that love you.

Blog Break

What might you ask does a Soup girl do on her blog break?

My Blog break consisted of a meditation from The Honest Guys, “The Seat” and 3 wonderful yoga poses 🙂 Corpse when meditating, reclined goddess, and child’s pose.

Need to get away from your everyday for a few minutes?

Yes, I know we all want to escape to the beach or mountains for a week instead of 14 minutes of relaxing….But truly – The Honest Guys are a great go to for me to enjoy a few relaxing moments.  Very refreshing and so easy!

Day 19: Format New To Me

Today’s assignment: publish a post using a format you’ve never used before.

Ok – let’s think,

think….Where or where is my tree stump to sit upon like Winnie-the-Pooh bear when I need one?  It’s been a bit since I’ve written a zerotohero post, but this Soup girl is NOT a quitter!!!  Hmmm… I know, I have not yet posted any audio links with the exception of 1 very interesting u-tube video about how railroad spike knives are made, here.

Today’s thoughts for this challenge are leaping to ALL of the following places:

  • Try out the audio or video posting format
  • Used the Quote posting format once, here – So guess that’s out
  • Embed audio into a Quote post to give it an extra, punch
  • Post a photo with an audio file embedded
  • Status Post – I’ve used once
  • Chat Post – What does that do???

Teach me Daily Post – See Post Formats for Formatting Basics if you need to glance, once again, like I do!  😉 Even after reading this still not sure about Chat.  Guess one of these days I’ll have to get brave enough to push that button and try.
