The song of the curved line is called happiness. (Rene Crevel)
Embarking on a walk in search of squiggly lines, the top of this mushroom caught my eye. I did not have to walk very far. These two were across the street in the ditch. Surprised I noticed them, but I was on the hunt for squiggly happy, little lines!
These mushrooms stand about 2 inches tall. Close up they are even more spectacular in all their macro beauty. It’s top has many veiny squiggly lines. In this 1st pic I love the arc of the mushrooms edge!
Had fun today attempting to identify this mushroom type, but came up short…for this pic anyway. I did identify 4 other mushrooms who have been my photo subjects 🙂 Woohoo!
This picture above was taken with my Olympus camera using super macro and Incandescent setting. All pics were edited in IPhoto (cropping and some light tinting, color brighten filters used). Loving the intricate, texturized squiggles on the side of this 2nd mushroom.
Quick! Back to the 1st mushroom for a side view.
Wait a minute…
No idea if this is the 1st or 2nd…they were standing next to each other. Since this one has such a sloping side. I’m thinking the 1st 2 pics are indeed the same shroomy subject 😉
